The Perfect Italian Garden Party by One Lovely Day Oh my, could you think of anything more perfect than a luscious Italian themed party filled with olive trees, lavender and of course delicious food and wine. Styled by the talented Claire from One Lovely Day this stunning setting really would make the most incredible event or wedding – you simply must look at her site, it’s beyond gorgeous! I love that there are so many plants, twinkling fairly lights and oh my how wonderful, and delicious,  is the rustic bread for place settings – it’s all just far too perfect for words! x

Happy Monday everyone, I hope that you all had a wonderful weather and were able to get outside and enjoy the beautiful Spring weather we’ve been having – we even managed to get out into the garden and do some jobs that have been needing to get done, so lovely! It was about this time last year that we moved into our home, and our little housewarming party was nothing compared to this beautiful housewarming party by Roost! Everything is beyond stunning and styled to perfection, how adorable are the little figurines of them and the delicious dessert/cheese table! The whole party is just far too lovely for words, what do you think? x

Yay we’re finally having some gorgeous Spring weather – but it’s still very much on the chilly side! I couldn’t think of  anything better than turning on the oven to warm your home up and make a few yummy pies – especially if you turn it into a little dessert table and have people over for dinner for a ‘yay it’s Spring party’! How absolutely stunning is this dessert table – all the sweet treats that you see are made by the very lovely To Have and To Hold,  the stunning photos by Sutherland Kovach and all the props, flowers and styling by the enormously talented Blush Flowers. I couldn’t think of a better excuse that to potter in the kitchen. x

Hello everyone, how was your weekend? I had such a lovely weekend filled with markets, cheese making and baking while Ben was busy writing essays for his MBA. However, I was completely blown away when I stumbled upon this gorgeous dinner part photographed by Jen Huang – how stunning and simple is it! I love the soft linen that has been paired with the rustic and incredibly striking flowers – oh my, how amazing is the wooden cake stand! I could gush on forever about this, be sure to click here to see more. x

Hello my lovelies, I hope that you had a wonderful weekend. Ours was very relaxing yet productive, I really love rainy weekends they’re the perfect excuse to potter, bake and watch a few movies. I could hardly believe my eyes though when I stumbled upon this gorgeous little soiree captured by the talented Jen Huang. I love the idea of making a dinner party or birthday really special with beautiful flowers, stunning place settings and of course delicious food – I find that winter is almost the perfect time for such occasions. You can see more of this beautiful soiree here. x

Happy Friday everyone, I hope you have had a wonderful week and have something fantastic planned for the weekend. I have been a huge fan of Enjoy Cupcakes for quite a while, I love their delicious baking style and of course that they hire out beautiful vintage caravans filled with baking for events. Coral is their lovely new caravan and she is just gorgeous, I couldn’t think of anything more amazing than having her at a wedding or event, you can click here to see more beautiful photos taken by the very talented Jose Villa.

Since re-launching Made From Scratch and announcing ad space’s on the blog, I have been completely overwhelmed with the response and how many amazing people have been generous enough to advertise on my blog – thank you all so very much! I am so excited to welcome Mel from All the Frills as the newest advertiser, I really can’t get enough of her amazing eye to detail when it comes to planning and styling a party. If you have something special coming up, be sure to get in touch with Mel she would love to hear from you. x

I hope everyone is having a lovely week so far, things have started to settle down a lot around here which I am welcoming with very open arms. I have also been thinking a little about what sort of party would be fun for Easter, the lovely Rubyellen from Cakies threw this gorgeous breakfast party for her daughter’s first birthday and I think it would work perfectly with a good old fashioned Easter egg hunt {because really what is better than a delicious breakfast and chocolate in the morning?}. I’d love to know what you are thinking of doing for Easter this year. x
