Oh my, it’s so so lovely to be back – I’ve really missed you all, our fluffy puppy and blogging each day it so strange not doing it each day! Although in saying that my hubby and I had the most wonderful time in Sydney last week – he was there for work and I was lucky enough to tag along to do a little shopping and catch up and meet some incredibly amazing people. Like catching up with the wonderful Kate Robinson at the Donna Hay (where naturally quite a bit of shopping was done!) general store before brunch as Bills and meeting insanely lovely and gorgeous Mia from Mia Loves Pretty at the delicious Grounds of Alexandria for lunch – beyond perfect! As well as of course shopping and catching up with lovely people my hubby and I wandered around this gorgeous city taking in all of the beautiful sites that it has to offer – it really is such a wonderful city! So since returning from our week away being a tourists in Sydney. I now want to explore Auckland a little more like a tourist, I think there is something wonderful about trying to see the city that you live in through a tourists eyes! To say I am a teeny bit excited about today is a little of an understatement. My hubby and I are going to Sydney for six days, he’s going for work, I’m going for sightseeing, shopping and of course catching up with some very lovely ladies while there – the perfect little break! The blog might be a little quiet for the next few days, but I’ll be sharing all of my lovely new Sydney finds on Instagram and Facebook which you’re of course more than welcome to follow. I hope everyone is having the most wonderful holiday so far, annoyingly the weather has been pretty terrible but everyone in New Zealand is keeping their fingers crossed for some sunshine! Ben, Kora and I are off for a little holiday up North today for the rest of the week/early next week so sadly there won’t be any posts until we come back, hopefully a little more refreshed, relaxed and sun kissed. I hope everyone had a lovely weekend, we had a wonderful time in Nelson for Grandma Ann’s 80th Birthday. I can’t believe I’ve never been before, it’s such a pretty town full of yarn bombing and gorgeous Spring flowers! As always with our family we naturally eat way too much food, its really a McMahon/Nightingale skill to eat more than humanely possible over a weekend, we also managed to watch all the rugby games, spend a morning at the beach, visit the fantastic Bansky exhibition, go to nature land and play a round of mini golf. Happy Birthday Grandma Ann, thank you for a wonderful weekend away!
I’m so sorry for the late post today, our friends Nick and Steven took Ben and I to the Puhoi Pub for lunch in their boat. It was a awesome calm winters day pottering along in the water admiring the ever lovely New Zealand landscape followed by a beautiful lunch and some oh so delicious Puhoi Cheeses! It is one of the best parts about living in New Zealand as this little piece of wonderfulness is only 20min north of Auckland! I hope that everyone has had a lovely start to their weekend. xx

I hope everyone is having the most wonderful day, the weather is stunning in Auckland today which is always nice! Ben and I were lucky enough to travel around France a couple of years ago for around 2 months, it is the most beautiful country to travel around and yes Paris will always be one of my favourite cities in the whole world. Its a dream of ours to get back to France one day and enjoy their love of food, fashion, and life. xx

A few years ago Ben and I were lucky enough to meet our parents in Turkey to do a little traveling with them after India. One place that was very special for us all to visit was ANZAC Cove, for all Australians and New Zealanders ANZAC Day is a very important day in our history and one that will never ever be forgotten! Its a day where everyone is incredibly proud to call themselves an Australian or New Zealander. Lest We Forget!
