Like almost everyone, I find it pretty impossible to wander past a dessert table – but a cheese table, oh my, I don’t think I would ever leave! How incredibly delicious and perfect is this cheese table that Mel from All the Frills styled for a recent party – I adore that she didn’t use flowers, instead rustic and beautifully sprigs of rosemary. Like every good cheese board, there is the perfect mix of something sweet (how amazing are the little pots of honey and large slices of honeycomb!) savoury, crunchy and of course an incredible selection of cheeses. When you’re next in need of a beautiful dessert or cheese table for your next soirée or wedding, be sure to get in touch with Mel her incredible attention to detail means she’ll create a night for you that you’ll never forget! x

I’ve always found it a little strange that we celebrate the silly season in warmth and sunshine while the rest of the world is settling into the lovely rich colours and textures of fall and winter. I think if I was to re-do our wedding I would have opted for a fall wedding, there is just something so magical about this season and of course all the beautiful rich colours, delicious food and wine that you can comfortably enjoy. Oh my, I was completly floored when I stumbled across this beautiful Fall Collaboration on Roost blog for Once Wed, isn’t it just everything that you could ever want from a delicious fall wedding? x

Spring in Auckland is strange, one day it’s warm and sunny, the next it’s grey and freezing cold! Seeing as today is cold and gloomy, I thought that I would warm you all up with still ridiculously stunning rustic dessert table styled by Blush Flowers – everything is just so perfect and the vintage touches are to die for. How spoilt would you feel having this beautiful dessert table at your wedding or next special event – I could imagine everyone hovering protectively over their sweet vintage plate piled high with yummy treats, perfection really! x

Happy Monday everyone! I am so excited to show part two of the Abbeville Styled Shoot that I organised and styled a few weeks ago with some very lovely and talented ladies. The delicious goodies on the dessert table were made by some very talented bakers, Sophie from Cake Pop Kitchen made the amazing cake pops, Lucy made the to die for white chocolate truffles and I whipped up all three cakes and the sweet little meringues. The gorgeous drinks table was styled by the wonderfully talented On My Hand – they also very generously supplied all the stunning props that you see on the drinks and dessert table! The oh so pretty and elegant props for the dining table were supplied by Abbeville Estate the flowers by Blush Flowers, and wonderfully photographed by Poppy Moss. I am beyond proud of how this shoot turned out and forever thankful for all the help I had bringing it to life – I still have one more pretty post to come. I hope you enjoy the photos as much as we do. x
