Glitter Heart Cake Toppers
Happy Friday everyone, I hope that you have had a lovely week. I’ve been dying to share the easy how to for the glitter cake toppers since positing the delicious Ruffle Cake I made for Kaitlin’s birthday. They are the perfect little DIY for the weekend and take no time at all, which is perfect when you want to add a little sparkle to a special birthday cake – or any cake really! I’d love to know what you have planned for the weekend, I’m having a girly morning of craft markets with a very lovely friend and then enjoying a lazy weekend with my hubby. Have a lovely weekend everyone, I’d love to see what sweet cake toppers you make. x

Glitter Heart Cake Toppers
1 sheet of glitter card – most craft or art stores will have this and they come is a range of pretty colors.
Hot glue gun or super glue
Wooden Skewers or toothpicks for cupcake toppers
Heart shape die cutter – you can buy these from any craft or art store, otherwise you can cut out little hearts by hand.
How to
Cut out as many little hearts as you can from the sheet of glitter paper, pipe a line of glue onto the back of the heart and quickly stick the wooden skewer onto the glue. Shake off any excess glitter and allow to dry completely before topping your cake or cupcake with the topper. Ta-da, all done!
You can also add a heart to the other side so that it is a double sided, simply repeat the steps above – you can also glue both hearts together with a little more glue so that you can’t see the wooden skewer. x
