Happy New Year everyone, I hope you all had the most incredible Christmas and New Year with your family. We had the most relaxing and stress free summer holiday, every day revolved around finding a new beach to visit, eating Christmas leftovers, finding a new book to read and falling asleep half way through a chapter, visiting friends and enjoying endless BBQ’s, daily swims at the wharf near our home, looking back on a busy 2014 and of course looking forward to an exciting 2015. It was summer perfection and we enjoyed every minute of it!

I do have to admit though, it’s been quite hard to get back into the swing of things today, the first day back at work is never fun. That said, the start of a brand new year always fills me with excitement, everything seems possible and the hardships and stresses of the previous year have a magic effect of fading away a little easier. I had so many plans of sharing end of year posts to round up 2014 but, as always, the wonderful silly season that surrounds Christmas always wins. I’ve shared a few of my favourite posts from 2014 below in the you may also like section - I had such a wonderful time last year and looking back on everything was completely blown away by how much Made From Scratch grew, who I was lucky enough to work alongside and how much support it got. It’s something I find I never get time to admire while working, so it was really lovely to look back, take a moment and be proud of my work.

I have some really exciting plans for Made From Scratch this year, all of which I can’t wait to share with you - a little hint, the blog will become a little more interactive for you, there is a new section to launch and a few exciting projects in the plan. I honestly can’t wait. One area I’m really excited about expanding is places - if you have, or know of any beautiful new places in and around your area I’d love to find out more about them, visit and of course share them. So to start off an exciting new year of blog posts, I thought I’d share a few of my favourite photos that I shared on instagram over our holiday, and a few beautiful office spaces to help you back into the work mode. Here’s to a truly brilliant 2015, I’d love to hear of any exciting plans you have. x
