Happy Friday everyone, I hope you’ve had a wonderful week so far – my goodness it’s been a busy one! I’m so excited about this weekend, two of our very best friends are getting married in the same spot that we did over three years ago – it’s going to be so special. I hope you all have a truly magical weekend planned, and if your planning on doing a little indoor plant shopping be sure to take a peek at this very helpful, and absolutely gorgeous, House Plant 101 Guide from the amazing DesignLoveFest! Have a wonderful weekend everyone, I’d love to hear what you have planned. x
Last year I was asked to make a exposed vanilla layer cake for photo shoot that was styled by Red Creative Event Styling and photographed by the lovely Kate Grewal Photography - I’m beyond honoured and terribly excited to share that over the weekend this beautiful Orchard Romance Shoot was featured on the amazing Style Me Pretty blog! Everyone who was apart of this magical shoot did such a fantastic job and it’s always so lovely and incredibly flattering to see your work featured on such an iconic blog. Be sure to take a peek on Style Me Pretty to see more of this stunning Orchard Romance Shoot. x

Hello, I hope everyone had a truly wonderful weekend and were spoilt rotten by your Valentine! I’m so excited to introduce you to one of the most beautiful new online shops that New Zealand has to offer, The Foxes Den! Based in Christchurch The Foxes Den recently opened their virtual shop doors to truly perfect selection of must have items for your home – they believe that “simple everyday events can become a pleasure when done beautifully. Like drinking wine from exquisite stemware or serving coffee with a saucer” and that it’s the little details in life that make everything feel like a luxury – it’s something I couldn’t agree with more! I must admit I’ve fallen a little head over heels in love with their sin paper porcelain plate range, each piece is lovingly handmade by Virginia sin in Brooklyn, USA – these really are a true work of art and a collection of these really would be such a special addition to your kitchen! I hope you enjoy having a little wander around their lovely online shop as much as I have. x
I adore the blogging world, it is such a magical place full incredible talented people – I stumbled upon The Sauce a little while ago and have been completely smitten since. There is something so romantic and lovely about a illustrated food blog, you simply must take a peek at Emma’s work and of course blog, it’s beautiful! x
Happy Friday everyone, I hope you all had a lovely day off yesterday to celebrate Waitangi Day. I haven’t done a little round up of my new favourite items for a while, so I thought there is no time like the present and of course with Valentines Day just around the corner it’s always nice to gather ideas for your loved one – or of course your self! I couldn’t think of anything more perfect than celebrating the end of the working week than with a chic selection of beautiful jewellery, beauty, home decor, clutches, must have hair products – I have to admit I’m slightly obsessed with the new Remington Keratin Straighter, I’ve wonderfully thick, curly hair and this beauty carefully glides through my hair with such easy that I’ve soft straight hair in no time… which of course is incredibly helpful for a windy day like today! I hope everyone has a truly wonderful day planned and of course, you can never go wrong with a bunch of freshly picked flowers for your love this Valentines Day. xo

Summer and ice cream really do go hand in hand – it’s just so delicious, wonderfully refreshing and always a crowd pleaser. I’m struggling to bring myself to bake anything at the moment, mostly because it just seems weird to be baking on a warm summers day, plus there is something so wonderful about whipping up a dessert that takes no time at all to prepare. This stunning slice is one of those desserts, and of course there really is something so magical about paring classic Tip Top Hokey Pokey with vanilla infused grilled peaches – this simple dessert really is perfect for summer, and of course to whip up for a any last minute Waitangi Day celebrations tomorrow. x
