1There are emails that truly make your day, as they tend to contain something so beautiful that stops you in your tracks and makes you smile! This wedding was apart of one of those emails I received this week and it completely brightened my day. I’m so honoured to share Mark and Stacey’s beautiful garden wedding today, the colours, pops of bright gingham, venue, flowers and table settings are so beautiful and make for such a relaxed, happy and love filled vibe! Plus I’m completely smitten with the stunning stationery and tea towel invites, which were lovingly designed by Stacy herself, how lovely and perfect is that! This truly is such a perfect wedding, but of course you can see that from the gorgeous photos yourself! x

We had the best day. Mark proposed to me with a beautiful ring that he had designed himself. A black diamond surrounded by a halo of white diamonds. He got on one knee on the shores of Lake Taupo last year on our first day home for Christmas holidays. We had an amazing year planning, gathering and creating all the finishing touches for our Big Day. Including a trip to New York where we got the lights that decorated the reception and my orange shoes. The ceremony was in the garden of my childhood home and then followed by the reception at the local Colyton Hall. The weather was absolutely perfect, gorgeous sunlight for the ceremony, slightly overcast for the photos and then thunder and lightening once we were all safe inside the hall. I am a massive fan of the 1920’s era and that is where the inspiration for my dress came from, and the rest of the details followed from that.
