I hope everyone is having the most wonderful holiday so far, annoyingly the weather has been pretty terrible but everyone in New Zealand is keeping their fingers crossed for some sunshine! Ben, Kora and I are off for a little holiday up North today for the rest of the week/early next week so sadly there won’t be any posts until we come back, hopefully a little more refreshed, relaxed and sun kissed. Hope you have a fantastic week or so, and I’ll be back before you know it with some wonderful new posts for the year ahead. x

I thought it was about time to introduce you to our gorgeous new puppy Kora, Ben surprised me with her on Christmas Eve… by far the most incredible present ever! We’ve been having a lot of fun getting used to the whole puppy thing since Christmas, she’s just way to cute and almost impossible to take a good photo of. I’d love to know what you got up to over the Christmas holiday. xx

Today is our One Year Wedding Anniversary! Its amazing to think that this time last year we were nervously getting ready for one of the most amazing days in our life. It still amazes us at what we’ve achieved this year, we have lived in three houses, one of which we bought! We have managed to navigate a crazy year personally to come out still very much in love and stronger than ever. Last night we had a Halloween gathering with some good friends but today it is just about us two together enjoying the beautiful Auckland weather

Happy Friday everyone, so sorry for the late post today, we’ve been having a lovely day pottering around the house and having Grandma, Grandad {who gave us that gorgeous camellia plant} and Mum over for lunch. Ben was sweet enough to take a couple of days off around our anniversary, I have to say it’s so so nice having him around the house. We’ve got a few plans over the weekend, one include doing something with all our mint that is growing ridiculously fast {were thinking mojitos for our Halloween Party tomorrow night} and the other is to make a coffee table out of some pallets we found last weekend. What are your plans for the weekend I would love to hear, xx
Happy Friday everyone, I hope that you have had a really wonderful week. I have had a glorious morning today playing host at our new home to the oh so lovely Lucy from Cocoa Berry it was so lovely to catch up with her over some peppermint tea and lemon and blueberry crumb cake! I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend planned Ben, his family and I are all flying down to Nelson this evening to celebrate Grandma Ann’s 80th Birthday, I’m really looking forward to it as I have never been there before. What are your plans this weekend, I’d love to hear. xx
My mum (Rosemary to all of you) is an incredibly creative and outgoing person. Having been a nurse, a mum putting up with 3 boys and recently an arts graduate she has heaps of energy and is great fun to talk to about all of her creative endeavors. She and my dad are still motorbiking around the place and enjoying themselves at every opportunity.
While working with a TV show props department, Mum probably doesn’t get enough thanks for being awesome and hopefully today we can show her how great she really is. – Love Ben

I hope everyone had a lovely and oh so relaxing weekend, I can’t believe that its August it really does seem like this year has just disappeared before it has even begun! Now that Ben and I are getting beautiful french doors leading form the dining room onto our still-needs-to-be-built deck, we have been obsessing on what kind of dining room we want to have! We both want to have the biggest table possible for the space, some cool bright chairs and some sort of hanging ceiling lights. There are so many amazing ideas out there, now we just have decided on what to have… xx
