Happy Friday everyone, I’m beyond thrilled that the weekend is finally here. It’s been a pretty crazy week and Ben and I are really looking forward to a little time off. If you have some time over the weekend I highly recommend whipping up a mouth watering batch of Caramel and Walnut Brioche’s they are ideal for brunch or thrown into a picnic basket for a winter picnic. I’d love to know what you have planned for the weekend.x

Happy Friday everyone – can anyone else believe that it is already June, where has the year gone! With winter now ‘officially’ here, I can’t think of a better time that to start potting in the kitchen and making a whole bunch of yummy things to nibble on during the colder months. I made the easiest Peanut Butter, Chocolate and Vanilla Muesli the other day and I been eating it with some generous servings of delicious Russian Fudge Yoghurt from The Collective – it’s amazing and would be so perfect for brunch or dessert over the long weekend. x

Brrr it’s such a chilly winters day today – I thought I would share some delicious muffins my Mama made over the weekend, they would be the perfect thing to grab if your running out the door in a hurry on a cold morning, they will warm you up in no time. x
Good morning everyone, how is your weekend going so far? I hope it is nice and relaxing and filled with good food and friends. I thought that I would mix things up a little for brunch this morning, Ben normally makes delicious poached eggs on toast but he’s a little busy with uni work – so I made brioche french toast with homemade caramel sauce. It is probably the sweetest but most delicious way to start your morning, both of us were muttering between mouthfuls that it tastes like a warm doughnut – delish!

Last night while Ben was at the radio show, I went over to my Mama’s house for dinner. Mum cooked delicious and soul warming Gnocchi with Almond & Lemon Pesto and I baked the muffins for dessert. I never thought that a little muffin could spark so much dinner conversation though, Mum and I think the recipe needs less raspberries, Geoff wants more chocolate and Ben want’s them to be about 3 times bigger than they are! This is one recipe that might be making a reapperace on the blog while I perfect it – I hope you don’t mind. x

Hello everyone, I hope you had a wonderful weekend. I had the best weekend, it started with my birthday on Friday where Ben hijacked my blog and did a very special birthday post for me. I was flooded with so many lovely Birthday wishes, thank you all so much you are all far too kind! Ben spoilt me by taking me to the loviest tea shop, oh my its just gorgeous, so much so that I will tell you more in another post! We then caught up with some friends for a BBQ then the following night my gorgeous family took me out for the most delicious dinner, no one spoke to each other when we were eating it was that good! It was the perfect way to spend a weekend, I also made some homemade muesli while pottering around, its the easiest thing in the world to make and so so tasty! I’d love to know what you got up to over the weekend, I hope it was lovely and again thank you all so much for all the birthday wishes! x
I hope everyone had the most incredible Christmas Day yesterday with their family, ours was wonderful with our adorable new puppy Kora and being able to spend some lovely time with our family. Ben and I hosted breakfast at our place for his family and I served this delicious Strawberry Brioche Bread & Butter Pudding for dessert, and thankfully there is still some left over – there is honestly nothing better then grazing at Christmas Day leftovers on Boxing Day. I would love to know how your Christmas Day was. x
