Good morning everyone, I hope you had a wonderul weekend. Ours was so so nice, we took kora to puppy training which was a lot of fun and then had a very geeky day on Sunday. I can’t wait to show you some of the things we have been working on for Made From Scratch, I really hope you will like it. Autumn is also very much on its way, the days are getting shorter and a little colder. I rather like it, I’m one of those weird people that don’t really mind pottering inside, I couldn’t do it all the time but it is nice. I’ve also become a little obsessed with White Horse Home their prints and cushions are to die for! I would love to have a few scattered around our home, what do you think?

Also don’t forget to tag yourself in this photo on Facebook to go into the draw to win a $50 gift voucher for you to spend on any daily deal from Groupon, I will annouced the lucky winner tomorrow night. Good luck. x

Living

We Are Yolk

So as you can probably tell my favorite thing at the moment is trying to find pretty new things for the house. All the big things around the house are finally starting to settle down, our laundry is only a matter of days away from being finished and there are still a few little tweaks to be done on the kitchen but nothing too insane. So I now want to start adding things to our home and make it as homely and inviting as possible. I can’t think of anything better than adorning a home with some gorgeous prints from We Are Yoke, what do you think?

Oh and you may not be getting a post from me tomorrow, I’m so excited to say that tomorrow is my 25th birthday and I will be lucky enough to be spending the whole day with Ben and Kora, followed by a night out with my gorgeous family over the weekend. I can’t wait. x

I hope everyone is having a lovely week so far, the weather has been getting a little gloomy lately which isn’t so fun. I’ve some exciting news though, our laundry is finally being installed today, I can’t wait to have it all finished its been looking a little sad just being a washing machine in a small room. I also stumbled across Schoolhouse Electric & Supply Co. the other day and I have fallen head over heals for their classic clean designs, I am always on the hunt for beautiful things to add to our house I think any of these items would fit in perfectly. What do you think? x

I hope everyone had a lovely Valentines Day yesterday, I baked some heart shaped brownies and had a lovely lazy night in with Ben. For those of you who have followed Made From Scratch for a while, you’ll know that I love having people over for dinner. I also love the idea of always setting the dinner table properly before you eat, it has a magic ability to transform a simple meal into a special meal almost instantly. How beautiful is the table setting laid out by the lovely Nina from Stylizimo for a lunch guest she had recently, you would feel so special sitting down to something like this. x
