Happy Monday everyone, I hope that you all had a wonderful weekend – how incredible has the weather been, so so summery and warm! We celebrated a friends birthday with a little friendly(ish) paintball fire, so much fun, and we all have a few battle wounds to show off. I find that while the weather is so warm it can be a little uninspiring to bake, but there is nothing like a lemon curd cupcake to make you persevere with the heat – plus they don’t take long to make which is wonderful! I’d love to hear what yummy things you’ve been baking during summer. x

I love this time of the year, Christmas and holiday time is just around the corner and we are spoilt for choice with lots of delicious summer berries! I’ve always had a bit of a soft spot for raspberries, they’re just so delicious and they pair beautifully with so many baked goods – I couldn’t think of a more perfect time of the year to whip up a few batches raspberry curd to add to your cakes, cupcakes or even give as a gift for the baker in your family. x

Well what a beautiful sunny week it’s been! It may be with the sun shinning, the lovely care package I received from my mom, the fact that I FINALLY got to do my nails last night for the first time in weeks, or just the overall lovely feeling in the air that has resulted with this week’s particularly pink girly weekly roundup!

I am beyond excited to announce the first batch of delicious new baking and decorating classes for October, be sure to have a peek at the calendar for all upcoming dates. There are two lots of classes so far, evening and weekend petal classes and a wonderful school holiday cupcake class for budding bakers and chefs! I am forever blown away by the response for these classes, you are all so amazing and I’ll never be able to thank you enough for all your support! Oh and if these dates don’t suit, there will be more dates released shortly – otherwise you can always book a private class for your lovely friends where you can choose what delicious goodies to make and find a time that suites. Happy Friday everyone – how lovely is it that the sun is shining, it’s so much nicer than cold rain! I’m beyond excited and so flattered to be able to share this stunning styled shoot with you, I love that gold is so popular at the moment, it’s just so pretty and works so beautifully with lovely soft pastels! How absolutely stunning is the soft table setting styled by the enormously talented All the Frills, you would feel oh so special dining at that table then getting to enjoy a few sweet treats from the dessert table by Bluebells Cakery before smashing the living day lights out of gilded piñata - it sounds like the perfect party!! This beautiful shoot was perfectly organised and photographed by the wonderfully talented Ellie from Jel Photography – she also made a little time lapse of the day, it’s so fantastic you have to watch it! I hope everyone has an exciting weekend planned, I’d love to hear what your up to – I’m hosting a delicious baking class tomorrow, then lunching with friends on Sunday – I can’t wait. x
