made-from-scratch-instagram Happy Monday everyone, I hope you all had a truly lovely weekend and got outside to enjoy this amazing Autumn weather we’re having! Can any one else believe that tomorrow is the start of April? This year has flown by! The start of the year for us has been such a busy whirlwind, everything from new jobs, crazy personal news that would knock even the most grounded person off their feet, weddings, birthdays, and day/weeks so busy that they all seem to blur into one! I have to admit out of the three months that 2014 has offered us so far, March has been my favourite. It was a time for us to sit back and absorb the madness that the start of the year brought us – and take a little time out to enjoy lazy weekends of cafe and gallery hopping!

I thought the best way to bid adieu to March would be a lovely little roundup of some of my favourite photos I’ve shared this month on Instagram, it’s quite easily become my favourite social media platform of choice at the moment, I’ve met some truly amazing people who have quickly become fast friends and I am forever inspired by what pops up on my feed – plus it’s a lovely outlet to share a little more of what I get up to. Below is a little list of my top 5 favourite feeds at the moment - I’d love to hear what your favourite feeds are, it’s always so lovely to find new ones! I hope everyone has had a really lovely March so far, I can’t wait to see what April brings. xo

#1 vanessabarendregt - this stunning feed is home decor heaven at its best! Minimal, clean and styled to perfection, it’s such a breath of fresh air and I love seeing Vanessa’s beautiful images in my feed!

#2 sundayfolk – you will already know how much I adore Bianca’s work and style, her blog and feed is vegan baking at it’s very best – it’s truly amazing! Plus I’m also beyond honoured to be a judge as part of her What Folk Eat community, be sure to take a peek at her website for more info!

#3 Fit24 - in a bid to create some healthy habits before winter, Ben and I have signed up to the Fit24 April Challenge that starts tomorrow, if you’re interested in improving your heath and wellbeing take a peek and join up! Their feed may have just started, but it’s already sharing some seriously delicious recipes to try!

#4 Blomst – easily the most beautiful feed I’ve stumbled upon in a while! Tracy’s amazing eye for detail, magical images and truly amazing art work makes this easily one of my favourite feeds at the moment – my heart almost stops every time one of her images pop up in my feed!

#blondeandbone – last but certainly not least, Hannah’s beautiful feed is minimalist heaven! Full of perfectly styled images full of crisp white tones, soft blush pinks, bold blacks, fresh blooms and an office to die for. You’ll quickly fall in love with her stunning feed and end up ‘double tapping’ every single one of her images!

I’d love to hear what your favourite Instagram feeds are at the moment, you can of course follow me here. xo

Pastel-Blooms-Moodboard Happy Friday everyone, I hope you all had a lovely week! The incredibly sweet ProFlowers asked me to put together a little mood board of my favourite floral trend at the moment – I can’t remember the last time I made mood board (they’re so pretty and so much fun, I think I’m going to have to get back into the habit!) and I’m having a little crush on pastels at the moment. So I thought a beautiful pastel mood board was the perfect way to celebrate the end of a lovely week, plus Im yet to meet anyone who doesn’t have soft spot for a beautiful bouquet of flowers. I hope you all have a truly magical weekend planned, I’m off to buy a pretty selection of flowers for our home. x

Happy Friday everyone, I hope everyone has had a really lovely week and are looking forward to the Auckland long weekend! I’m beyond honoured and so thrilled to share this gorgeous Hen’s Garden Party that the absolutely stunning and wonderfully talented Mel from All the Frills styled – I adore the idea that a Hen’s party can be turned into a beautiful flower filled event. Plus how gorgeous is Julie’s dress, the host of this gorgeous party, and of course the adorable puppy proudly wearing a bow tie! I couldn’t think of a more perfect event for a beautiful-bride-to be as everything from the dessert table, drinks table and flowers have been styled to absolute perfection – plus my jaw dropped when I saw the dahlia ring favours, they’re such a lovely idea! In other exciting news, Mel has just launched her very first online shop – it’s a perfect extension of her stunning brand and everything is absolutely to die for! I’ll share a little more about this later but for now, you must have a peek at the rest Sarah’s Garden Hen’s Party, and of course All The Frill’s Shop, it’s so hard to leave empty handed, everything is so amazing! x

16 There are very few places in the world that are as whimsical and completely breathtaking as the scenery in Provence, France. We had the absolute pleasure of traveling through this beautiful country side way back in 2009 and I would love to get back there one day, just to sit and admire the beauty with a delicious cheese and wine picnic with gorgeous friends. For now though I’m quite thankful that the very talented and lovely Feather & Stone recently visited this beautiful part of the world and photographed the most stunning wedding shoot – it’s beyond magical and everything you would hope a wedding hosted in Provence would be, simple, elegant, rustic, surrounded by raw untouched nature and of course absolutely perfect. You simply must take a peek and admire the rest of Feather & Stone’s beautiful Provence Inspiration Wedding, you’ll want to pack your bags and fly to France straight away. x

Oh gosh, I’m so excited about the end of this week drawing closer and closer – is anyone else excited that Christmas Day is only a week away and that our glorious summer holidays start this weekend?! I’ve had such a wonderful time teaming up with Tip Top Ice Cream creating delicious ice cream posts for you to enjoy over summer, that I thought it was only right to end 2013 on a lovely and very easy Ice Cream Sundae Dessert Table, complete with the cutest cake pops from Cake Pop Kitchen, that really does only take a matter of minutes to prepare for your gorgeous waiting guests. This delicious and oh so cute dessert really would be so perfect for any Christmas or New Years Eve celebration or of course a beautiful summer wedding – the best part is you can choose what ever flavours and colour pallets you like. I hope everyone is having a lovely week so far and enjoying the last few working days of 2013. xo

Happy Friday everyone, oh gosh I’m so thrilled that this week is over – it’s been one of those blink and you’ll miss it kind of weeks. I’m even more thrilled about it being Friday because my hubby and I are sneaking away for a lovely long weekend up north to Coopers Beach for a much needed break, I’ve never been before and I can’t wait – I’ll no doubt be sharing a few travel picks here and there on instagram. I’m also beyond thrilled to share this absolutely stunning event that Claire from One Lovely Day and Anita from Wildernest styled recently on Motuihe a few weeks ago. The whole event was styled around the most gorgeous tents, the cutest of caravans called Waggie, the most amazing food and of course a location to die for – this whole event and setting is beyond perfect and everything about this day really does have summer weddings, parties and festivals written all over it. I hope everyone has a lovely weekend planned, I’m off to the beach and will see you Monday…maybe Tuesday. xo
