Happy Friday everyone, I hope you’ve all had a wonderful week so far. So yesterday I shared the sweetest Mothers Day table setting – today is all about gorgeous gifts for your incredible Mama! I’ve always found giving gifts to my Mum a little tricky, as I feel that whatever I give it would never be enough to thank her for everything that she’s done! But all Mama’s deserve something beautiful, be it a delicious cup of tea while wearing sparkly slippers or a subscription to endless goodies by the gorgeous Sample Bar (you might remember the incredible Mothers Day parcel I received a little while ago – I can now share what’s inside!!) either way no matter what you give your Mama this Mothers Day, she is going to love it! xo

Aw, with Mother’s Day this weekend it’s the perfect time to organise something special for your incredible Mama! I’m a little in love with this incredibly elegant yet simple table setting styled by the lovely Caitlin Moran for Glitter Guide - the soft gold and green touches are perfection, as is the very sweet name tag with a sprig leaves from the flowers. This weekend really is the time to spoil our wonderful Mama’s for everything they’ve done for us, I’ll be sending all my love to mine as she’s lucky enough to be spending Mothers Day in New York – how wonderful is that! x

Goodness me, is anyone else finding that this week is zooming by just a little too quickly? I’ve been wonderfully busy baking lots of delicious wedding cakes for a gorgeous mid week wedding, honestly the most lovely job ever! I mentioned in my post the other day that I was asked to be a bridesmaid over the weekend at our friends wedding this year (insert lots of exciting squeals!!!) I only just realised too that it also means planning a wonderful hens night for the lovely bride to be! Oh my, does everyone else agree that every Wednesday should be a public holiday, I hope that everyone had a wonderful day off yesterday with their friends and family – the weather was far too perfect for words! I’d like to introduce you Alice Stephenson, she is the very proud (and lucky) owner of this stunning apartment, I could hardly believe my eyes when I saw it in the latest issue of Adore - isn’t her home beyond amazing?! I’d love to decorate our home like this one day, it’s so colourful, cheerful and inviting! Alice styled her lovely new abode with the help of her sister-in-law Claudia Stephenson and was beautiful photographed by her good friend Hannah Blackmore - I love how there are so many wonderful pops of bright pinks, oranges, patterns and textures, it’s styling at it’s very best! Oh my, could this styled shoot by Grey Likes Weddings be any more perfect! I love the idea of your beautiful bridesmaids wearing bright dresses with gorgeous statement necklaces, it’s stunning! I could gush on forever about this shoot, to me it’s everything a wedding should be, fun, bright and wonderfully thoughtful – I have to admit I’m a little obsessed about the pineapple invites and oh so sweet table setting, it’s too perfect for words! x

Weekly Roundup 25th January
Yay happy Friday everyone, how lovely is it that the weekend is upon us again – and not just any weekend a lovely long weekend! Do you have anything special planned or will you be taking it nice and easy? Oh I can’t quite believe that Valentines Day is approaching, how did that happen?! However I am quite smitten with this weeks gorgeous weekly roundup by Toodles Noodles, how incredibly stunning would a luxury picnic be – especially while sipping on pomegranate + vanilla vodka, oh my! Well it’s that time of the week again – time for our weekly roundup! It’s been quite a week around this neck of the woods.
We moved house and studio last weekend (leaving us without internet until yesterday….sigh), we were super lucky and won tickets for the Auckland Seafood Festival this weekend through Te Awa Winery, and had some lovely birthday celebrations out with friends and delicious cakes from the lovely Made From Scratch.
The shop also had a big week being featured in the Etsy Finds email with our Full of Hearts gift wrap, our Blue bird gift wrap making the front page and our Your My Superhero note cardsmade the new To & From Valentine’s Day Guide - all of which has left me feeling well – a bit lovely dovey!
With Valentine’s Day coming up, I thought I might just theme up this week’s Weekly Roundup with a bit of a romantic feel. We also have heaps of gift tags, cards, prints all for that special day in our shop, so shop on by and have a nosey!

Happy Monday everyone, I hope you all had a lovely weekend basking in the beautiful sunshine. We had a very relaxing weekend followed by a pretty lavish event, which was pretty strange but still lots of fun! Like pretty much everyone I’m a little in love with summer, everything is just so warm, fresh and of course you get to eat lots of yummy strawberries. I LOVE that Katrina and Nick had their wedding at strawberry farms, there is something so incredibly sweet about that, plus their wedding styled by the hugely talented Bash Please is to die for – I can’t get enough of their gorgeous invites, colourful backdrop and of course barn reception it’s all just so perfect. x
