Summer Fruits

~ cake ~ fruit bar ~ confetti ~ rhubarb ~ RSVP ~ bouquet

Summer is trying with all its might in Auckland to happen, but the weather has been so insane lately that I thought I should brighten up everyones sort of rainy, very windy and sometimes sunny day with this pretty inspiration board. I love the idea of having a bright yet soft colour pallet with some oh so yummy summer fruits added, for those planning a summer wedding or party I think this would be so lovely. What do you think? x

Hold onto your sock ladies and get ready to swoon over this incredible pastel themed wedding photographed by the oh so talented Julie Lim, not sure about you but I love everything about this wedding. Funny enough I made this inspiration board before I found out that Ben and Lucy were getting married and planning a soft pastel-ish wedding… what do you think, personally I think a wedding or party themed like this would be simply perfect!

Cozy Wedding

My goodness, is there anything more perfect than a rustic and oh so cozy wedding – I’m all for winter weddings, I think there is something incredibly magical about them! Plus how gorgeous does the bride look with a cozy wool shawl draped over her shoulders – so stunning! This gorgeous style shoot was photographed by the enormously talented Jose Villa and styled by Jill La Fleur it really is just too perfect for words! x

Oh my, is anyone else a little in love with neon at the moment – I’m not sure I could handle full on neon, but goodness me how amazing is this styled shoot for Brooklyn Bride?. I adore the pops of colour, giant balloons with fringe tassel, the impeccable attention to detail – plus how amazing is that cake, everything really is far too perfect for words and I could gush forever! x

I hope everyone had a lovely and oh so relaxing weekend, I can’t believe that its August it really does seem like this year has just disappeared before it has even begun! Now that Ben and I are getting beautiful french doors leading form the dining room onto our still-needs-to-be-built deck, we have been obsessing on what kind of dining room we want to have! We both want to have the biggest table possible for the space, some cool bright chairs and some sort of hanging ceiling lights. There are so many amazing ideas out there, now we just have decided on what to have… xx
