Ginger Thins

Ginger Thins | Made From ScratchHappy Monday everyone, I hope you all had a glorious weekend. Is anyone else enjoying that the days are a little cooler? I love this crisp weather, it’s the perfect time to spend an afternoon potting in the kitchen making delicious bite size cookies. We were lucky enough to have a few, well a lot, of these incredibly moreish spiced cookies with warm cups of tea with Ben’s parents yesterday afternoon. They’re so good that I had to whip up a batch the second we got home – they’re so simple to make and I promise you wont be able to stop at one. x

I am so excited and honoured to welcome Little Ink as a brand new advertiser on Made From Scratch, I fell in love with Suzie’s keen eye for detail for selecting some of the most beautiful items for packaging, baking and entertaining quite a while ago, you can see the first post here. Since then she has added a lot of gorgeous new things to her online shop – be sure you scoot over and have a look I promise you will find something gorgeous for your next party or a gift for someone special! x

Oh my, you might want to curl up with a cup of tea and get comfy this wedding photographed by welovepictures is so stunning that they needed three posts to show all the wonderfulness, you can see it here, here and here. I can’t think of anything more amazing than having a picnic wedding, we originally wanted to have a potluck wedding – still I am so glad that we went with a whole range of spanish goodies but wow how beautiful is this wedding!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful start to their week so far, I’m lunching with the lovely Liora from Toodles Noodles and Danelle from A Couple of Night Owls. I am so excited to meet them both. x

I am so excited and honored to show you this beautiful post wedding shoot for Amanda from Here Comes the Sun and her husband Jeremy.  Lovingly styled and photographed by the incredibly talented Danelle and Hook from A Couple of Night Owls, this beautiful post wedding shoot was shot in Raglan for Amanda and Jeremy as they didn’t get a change to do an engagement shoot before their wedding. I can’t gush enough about this, you can see more of this stunning shoot here.

I hope everyone had a lovely and relaxing long weekend, we didn’t really get up to much which was a perfect to spend three sunnyish days. I did go to an amazing nursery with my parents and started the wonderful task of collecting plants for our gardens to be. I can’t wait to show you what we have planned, hopefully it will work out how we want. We have also been talking about rearranging the bedrooms in our house {mostly to fit Ben’s piano into the house, that is still at his parents} but that leads the way to pretty new things and a clean out. I also came acrosse this breathtakingly simple wedding featured on Once Wed, it’s so soft and delicate and would be perfect for any season. What do you think? x

I hope everyone is having a wonderful week so far, we’re still in holiday mode as we both don’t go back to work until next week so it’s lovely having that extra bit of time off! The wedding season is also in full swing in New Zealand, to all the beautiful brides and grooms to be, I hope your wedding planning is going well. Here are a few amazing wedding details from Grey Likes Wedding I love how simple each of these details are, they would be so easy to bring into your wedding some way. x
