Hello everyone, its so lovely to be back from our little break away up north. We went to a very tiny fishing town called Tinopai, it is the perfect place to go and catch up on reading, sleeping, a spot of fishing and doing nothing really. It also gave me some time to think about what I want to do this year with the blog, I’ve some idea’s tucked away that I will hopefully be able show you through out the year.
One that I’m going to start right away is trying a new recipe every week, I’ve so many recipe books and food magazines so I thought I should put them to good use. So starting this week I will be trying something new and different to share with you all, no doubt some will probably fail and some will be a wild success… but isn’t that what cooking and baking is all about, pushing your limit and trying something new? I would love to know what you’ve been up to over the summer holidays, we haven’t been able to do nearly as much around the house as we’d hoped due the the terrible rain – but we were able to start a little corner garden! x
I hope everyone is having the most wonderful holiday so far, annoyingly the weather has been pretty terrible but everyone in New Zealand is keeping their fingers crossed for some sunshine! Ben, Kora and I are off for a little holiday up North today for the rest of the week/early next week so sadly there won’t be any posts until we come back, hopefully a little more refreshed, relaxed and sun kissed. Hope you have a fantastic week or so, and I’ll be back before you know it with some wonderful new posts for the year ahead. x
