Every year the very talented and lovely Anna Spiro of store Black & Spiro dresses up her shop windows with the most beautiful and ‘out of the box’ Christmas window displays – you can read all about it in the latest issue of Adore Home Magazine! I love how bright and fresh it is without being too ‘Christmasy’ – it’s perfect! There are so many gorgeous items that your eye falls upon, I’m quite smitten with the cushions and pineapple accents, I couldn’t think of a more beautiful way to enter Anna’s gorgeous store – which is at the top of my ‘must visit list’ when I go back to Brisbane. x

Oh my goodness, I am so excited to introduce the cutest bub ever, this is Sienna, Mel from All the Frills’ daughter who celebrated her first birthday last week! I had the absolute honour to be able to make Sienna’s birthday cake and a few other goodies for her stunning peach and silver themed birthday party that was beautiful styled by her Mama – All the Frills! I could gush on forever about how enormously talented Mel is at creating a beautiful party and her attention to detail is out of this world – especially the gorgeous petal backdrop she made! All the beautiful photos were wonderfully captured by Ellie from Jel Photography, I hope that you enjoy this as much as we did it was such a honour to be apart of such a special day, Happy Birthday Sienna! xo
Oh my, I am beyond honoured and so excited to be celebrating Made From Scratch’s second birthday! If someone had told me that I would be hosting baking classes and that I would have the privilege of knowing and working with so many amazing people then I wouldn’t’ have believed them in a million years. Nothing makes me happier than blogging, meeting and chatting with you all and of course the absolute honour of teaching baking classes. I don’t have the words to thank you for all your support over the last two years, each and everyone one of you mean the world to me. So I thought I would celebrate with a mini funfetti layer cake photographed by the wonderfully talented Ellie from Jel Photography, again thank you so much I can’t wait to see what the next two years brings. x

I have to say, I’m a little over winter it feels like it’s been raining and cold for so so long – so I thought that I would lift everyones mood a little with this stunning beach wedding from We Love Pictures to remind you the summer does exist and hopefully it’s not too far away! I hope that you are all having a glorious week so far, I have a few very exciting projects planned for the weekend that a few very lovely ladies and I have been busy working on – I can’t wait to tell you more about it. Oh my, after such a wonderful response for the Weeknight Ruffle Decorating Class, I am so happy to announce my first weekend Ruffle Cake class. This one is a little different to the decorating class as we will have a little more time to learn how to make the Swiss Meringue Buttercream, Classic Vanilla Buttercream and the Vanilla Layer Cake – I will have all your cakes and icings ready to go so that we have as much time as possible to decorate your beautiful Ruffle Cakes which of course you will get to take home along with a few gorgeous Made From Scratch goodies and a sweet little gift from me!

I am beside my self excited to share these gorgeous photos with you, my good friend Suzanne from She Paperie + Design Boutique and her dashing husband Jeff celebrated their 12 year wedding anniversary not long ago. With the help of an amazing groups of vendors Suzanne created a beautiful anniversary shoot to show their love story. Every single detail means something to them, from 12 dozen doughnuts to celebrate 12 years of marriage to a set of four engraved vintage spoons that tie their gorgeous twins into their lives and my favorite detail by far is their “love notes + lunches” – so sweet it will bring a tear to your eye! Suzanne and Jeff congratulations on 12 years of marriage and getting to celebrate your anniversary in such beautiful stye, you really are “better together”! Happy friday everyone, wow what a wonderful week it has been yet I am very happy that the weekend has arrived. Every sunday our family has pizza night at my mum’s, it’s been a tradition we’ve had for years now and its the best way to end a week and start a new one. My Mum has perfected the art of homemade pizza dough, it is perfect every single time without fail plus its ridiculously easy to make. If you’ve never made your own pizza dough, maybe this is the weekend to try it. x
