Weekly Roundup 25th January
Yay happy Friday everyone, how lovely is it that the weekend is upon us again – and not just any weekend a lovely long weekend! Do you have anything special planned or will you be taking it nice and easy? Oh I can’t quite believe that Valentines Day is approaching, how did that happen?! However I am quite smitten with this weeks gorgeous weekly roundup by Toodles Noodles, how incredibly stunning would a luxury picnic be – especially while sipping on pomegranate + vanilla vodka, oh my! Have a wonderful weekend everyone. x

Well it’s that time of the week again – time for our weekly roundup! It’s been quite a week around this neck of the woods.
We moved house and studio last weekend (leaving us without internet until yesterday….sigh), we were super lucky and won tickets for the Auckland Seafood Festival this weekend through Te Awa Winery, and had some lovely birthday celebrations out with friends and delicious cakes from the lovely Made From Scratch.
The shop also had a big week being featured in the Etsy Finds email with our Full of Hearts gift wrap, our Blue bird gift wrap making the front page and our Your My Superhero note cardsmade the new To & From Valentine’s Day Guide - all of which has left me feeling well – a bit lovely dovey!
With Valentine’s Day coming up, I thought I might just theme up this week’s Weekly Roundup with a bit of a romantic feel. We also have heaps of gift tags, cards, prints all for that special day in our shop, so shop on by and have a nosey!
1. These sparkly hearts make the perfect accessory for that sharp blazer or pretty bun!
2. A sweet treat made with bittersweet chocolate is a direct line to my heart.
3. Is there anything better than a luxury picnic with the ones you love?
4. Cold never looked so cute with these leggings.
5. I sure do love a relaxing bath after a long stressful day!
6. Time to spruce up those cocktails…mmm… pomegranate…
I hope you all have had a great week and have fun plans for the weekend ahead! Until next time… x
I am so excited and honored to show you this beautiful post wedding shoot for Amanda from Here Comes the Sun and her husband Jeremy. Lovingly styled and photographed by the incredibly talented Danelle and Hook from A Couple of Night Owls, this beautiful post wedding shoot was shot in Raglan for Amanda and Jeremy as they didn’t get a change to do an engagement shoot before their wedding. I can’t gush enough about this, you can see more of this stunning shoot here.

Winter is well and truly here now, and for some oh so lucky brides to be they’ll be getting married soon. I love winter weddings, there is something so special about them the sound of fresh snow {if your lucky enough to live where is snows} and beautifully layered dresses. It’s also a wonderful excuse to enjoy a delicious hot chocolate with your guests and share some spiced apple cake with warm caramel sauce. It sounds like perfection to me!
If you’ve recently been married or know of someone that has been. Feel free to email me and submit a wedding, its too special a day not to share. xx
I fell completely and utterly in love with this gorgeous DIY picnic basket that Sibylle from Funkytime has made from scratch! I think it would be a wonderful project to try on a lazy Sunday, what do you think?
Its that wonderful time of the week when the weekend has finally arrived. I hope that you have a beautiful weekend full of good friends, picnics, bike rides, and curling up with a good book and cup of tea! I will be having a lovely weekend working on a very special surprise for everyone, I can’t wait to share it with you! xx

I love weekends in Autumn, the air is crisp and fresh, you get to wear a few more warm layers and you can still go outside and enjoy the wonderful weather. These are the weekends where you can do anything from go out for a picnic, have a bike ride or snuggle up inside and bake, drink tea and write letters to your friends and family. I hope everyone has a wonderful and fun filled weekend what ever you end up doing!
