My goodness, I could hardly believe my eyes when I was asked by Hello May to share this gorgeous wedding from their current issue – which if you haven’t seen you must, it’s incredible! I think you’ll have to agree, this wedding really is so beautiful and full of love and life – plus, how sweet are the hand knitted throws for everyone to keep warm and the gorgeous jam favours, everything really is just so perfect! Below is the extract straight from the pages of Hello May’s current issue plus the most perfect playlist for wedding photos – I hope you enjoy this as much as I do, because I absolutely adore it! x
From the second photographer Tim Coulson walked through Claire’s door on her wedding day he knew this was going to be an event like no other!
“Claire handed me a CD and told me this is what she wanted played in my car, while we drove from location to location during the portraits.” For all you folks at home, here’s the playlist.
1. This is how we do it – Montell Jordan
2. No diggity – Blackstreet
3. Shoop – Salt-N-Pepa
4. Beautiful – Snoop Dog feat. Pharrell
5. Trick me – Kelis
6. Return of the Mack – Mark Morrisson
7. Hey Mr. D.J. – Zhané
8. Get busy – Sean Paul
9. One thing – Amerie
10. You can do it – Ms. Toi and Ice Cube 11. Holiday – Naughty By Nature
12. Too close – Next
13. Touch it – Monifah
14. No scrubs – TLC
Claire’s awesome playlist, aptly titled ‘Gangsta Cruisin’ set the tone for the good times and great memories that followed, not to mention loosened them all up a bit in front of the camera.
Massage therapist and yoga teacher, Claire, met Australian Defence Force member, Paul, almost four years ago and bonded over, among other things, a love of food. So of course, when it came to planning their wedding day, tasty treats were at the top of the menu must-haves. “We wanted something that reflected us as a couple, something simple, relaxed and intimate, like a Sunday family dinner – all of our nearest and dearest together having a laugh and sharing stories.” Podfood at Pialligo Plant Farm proved to be the perfect location for this feat to go down!
Look closely at the photos and you’ll find some fabulous handmade details have been worked into Claire and Paul’s wedding day. Claire’s mum made her gorgeous wedding dress, while Paul’s mum knitted some lovely wool shawls for the guests in case the evening got chilly. Homemade jams were made as wedding favours with tags by An April Idea (who also did the invitations) and the floral centrepieces were artfully arranged in recycled egg cartons!
But the icing on the cake? When Claire announced during her speech that they were going to have a baby! Talk about ending the evening on a high note…

Goodness me, could this incredibly gorgeous wedding featured on Smitten Mag be any more wonderful! Everything is just so pretty, relaxed and incredibly inviting – plus how cute is the sweet flower girl and the gorgeous pup and floral collar, I adore that even the paper goods had little puppy prints on them, it’s just so perfect! I could gush on forever about this lovely wedding, but I’m going to let the pictures tell the story – I’d love to hear what your favourite part of the day is. x

Happy Friday everyone, I hope you’ve all had a wonderful week so far. So yesterday I shared the sweetest Mothers Day table setting – today is all about gorgeous gifts for your incredible Mama! I’ve always found giving gifts to my Mum a little tricky, as I feel that whatever I give it would never be enough to thank her for everything that she’s done! But all Mama’s deserve something beautiful, be it a delicious cup of tea while wearing sparkly slippers or a subscription to endless goodies by the gorgeous Sample Bar (you might remember the incredible Mothers Day parcel I received a little while ago – I can now share what’s inside!!) either way no matter what you give your Mama this Mothers Day, she is going to love it! xo
Happy Friday everyone, I hope you all had a lovely day off in remembrance for ANZAC Day yesterday and got to enjoy some delicious ANZAC Biscuits too. I’m very excited to be able to share this gorgeous Brooklyn Wedding, from the stunning hanging flowers, beautiful venue overlooking New York, the cutest little glitter pegs holding up the candid polaroids of the evening and of course the sweetest confetti favours – it really is beyond perfect! x
Oh, Autumn really is starting to settle in, the days are getting shorter, cooler and the rain has finally arrived. It’s that time of the year when you start to pull out your winter goodies from storage to set yourself up for winter, or treat yourself to something new and cozy – like a gorgeous pair of moccasin slippers, aren’t they divine!! I adore this time of the year where your bedroom becomes a little more cozy and you don’t feel bad for spending a few lazy hours curled up in bed reading a good book over the weekend while a scented candle lights the room. x
Happy Friday everyone, goodness is anyone else finding that this year is flying by! I do love that the seasons are starting to change a little, there really is something so wonderful about staying inside a little during the cooler months. Especially if your home is filled with these cozy autumn goodies – is anyone else a little in love with the mint and glitter deer head, it’s incredible!!! I really couldn’t think of anything more wonderful than pottering in the kitchen and baking some delicious autumn pies before curling up with the gorgeous new issue of Hitched – it sounds like heaven to me! I hope you all have a wonderfully relaxing weekend, and again thank you all so much for your support and for entering the 5000 Facebook likes giveaway, you are all beyond amazing! x

I’ve had the true honour of being able to work along side Loni and help her out with selecting a few lovely products for the issue, it’s almost a dream come true! Be sure to have a peek at this gorgeous magazine while curled up with a warm cup of tea – it’s the perfect treat. x
