Weekly Roundup 25th January

Yay happy Friday everyone, how lovely is it that the weekend is upon us again – and not just any weekend a lovely long weekend! Do you have anything special planned or will you be taking it nice and easy? Oh I can’t quite believe that Valentines Day is approaching, how did that happen?! However I am quite smitten with this weeks gorgeous weekly roundup by Toodles Noodles, how incredibly stunning would a luxury picnic be – especially while sipping on pomegranate + vanilla vodka, oh my! Have a wonderful weekend everyone. x

Well it’s that time of the week again – time for our weekly roundup! It’s been quite a week around this neck of the woods.

We moved house and studio last weekend (leaving us without internet until yesterday….sigh), we were super lucky and won tickets for the Auckland Seafood Festival this weekend through Te Awa Winery, and had some lovely birthday celebrations out with friends and delicious cakes from the lovely Made From Scratch.

The shop also had a big week being featured in the Etsy Finds email with our Full of Hearts gift wrap, our Blue bird gift wrap making the front page and our Your My Superhero note cardsmade the new To & From Valentine’s Day Guide - all of which has left me feeling well – a bit lovely dovey!

With Valentine’s Day coming up, I thought I might just theme up this week’s Weekly Roundup with a bit of a romantic feel. We also have heaps of gift tags, cards, prints all for that special day in our shop, so shop on by and have a nosey!

1. These sparkly hearts make the perfect accessory for that sharp blazer or pretty bun!

2. A sweet treat made with bittersweet chocolate is a direct line to my heart.

3. Is there anything better than a luxury picnic with the ones you love?

4. Cold never looked so cute with these leggings.

5. I sure do love a relaxing bath after a long stressful day!

6. Time to spruce up those cocktails…mmm… pomegranate

I hope you all have had a great week and have fun plans for the weekend ahead! Until next time… x

Happy Monday everyone, I hope that you all had a fantastic weekend! Mine was amazing, a little live TV, a delicious baking class and then a trip to the zoo with my hubby – I’m still completely blown away by all your lovely comments and support, thank you! I thought that I would start the week with some stunning paper goods, if you haven’t heard of  Upon a Fold then you’re in for a treat! They sell some of the sweetest paper goods you’ll ever find – how cute is the message bouquet! Be sure to have a look at their shop, it’s too sweet for words. x

This morning I had the absolute honour of going onto the Tv One Breakfast program to talk about some simple tricks that you can do for setting a special dinner party with Toni and Tamati. I was and still am completely blown away that I was asked, it was such an amazing morning, I hope my nerves didn’t show through too much! It was then quickly followed by a baking class with a group of the loveliest ladies, where we whipped up some very yummy treats. If you missed the show this morning you can see my interview with Toni and Tamati here, thank you all so much for all your stunning comments and support – you are all so amazing! x

I hope everyone had a lovely weekend, we had a slow weekend of pottering around which is nice. I did come across this incredible modern rustic wedding, I love everything about it. It’s so homely, inviting and honestly nothing is better than having amazing food at your wedding! I would love to know what you got up to overt the weekend, you can see more of this gorgeous wedding here

Also don’t forget the Valentines Day is tomorrow, do you have something special planned?

Happy Monday everyone, I hope you had a lovely weekend. We had the pleasure of attending our  friends Anna & Evan’s wedding, it was beautiful and absolutely perfect and I can’t wait until I can show you their wedding. I also love the idea of this oh so pretty but simple color scheme for a wedding, nothing is sweeter than soft wooden and blue accents with the odd deer figurine thrown in. What do you think? x

I want to thank everyone who is kind enough to read my blog every day, its so lovely and humbling to know that so many people enjoy my ramblings each and every day. I thought that I would thank you by making a rustic wedding inspiration board, I think if we were ever to renew our vows I would get everyone and go to a farm and have a huge potluck party with the most delicious food, everything would be handmade and so simple, its also a good excuse to make a Butterfly Fleur de Sel Caramel Cake! xx
