Oh, I hope everyone had a lovely lazy weekend rugged up inside while the rain fell over the weekend – I secretly adore weekends where it rains the whole time, it’s the perfect time to catch up on doing nothing. You may remember me prepping for this crumble that I made last week – it’s beyond delicious and wonderfully simple to make which is absolutely perfect for chilly winter evenings! I hope you all have a lovely weekend planned, I’m hosting my Ruffle Class at Studio 46 this Wednesday evening which I’m beyond excited about! x

blondiesHappy Monday everyone, I hope you all had the most wonderful weekend and of course spoilt your gorgeous Mama for Mothers Day! We had a really lazy but productive weekend after a week away, it was perfect – plus a little lazy Sunday afternoon is wonderful while it’s a little chilly outside. My gorgeous Mother-in-law gave me this delicious blondie recipe years ago, I’ve made it more times that I can remember – it’s just so good!! Her recipe calls for macadamia nuts but I didn’t have any so I added in pistachio nuts and crystallised ginger – either way this recipe is absolutely incredible and so quick to make I promise it will be your go to treat in no time! x

Ginger Thins

Ginger Thins | Made From ScratchHappy Monday everyone, I hope you all had a glorious weekend. Is anyone else enjoying that the days are a little cooler? I love this crisp weather, it’s the perfect time to spend an afternoon potting in the kitchen making delicious bite size cookies. We were lucky enough to have a few, well a lot, of these incredibly moreish spiced cookies with warm cups of tea with Ben’s parents yesterday afternoon. They’re so good that I had to whip up a batch the second we got home – they’re so simple to make and I promise you wont be able to stop at one. x

Happy Monday everyone, I hope you all had the most wonderful weekend. We spent it enjoying music festivals, pottering in the garden, catching up with family and of course doing a little yummy easter baking. With Easter just around the corner, I couldn’t resist whipping up some delicious sticky mixed fruit scrolls and enjoying them straight from the oven while warm. My Grandma makes these scones by heart and each and every time they turn out beyond perfect, they’re quick enough to make before heading off to any Easter celebrations this weekend. xo
