I could gush on forever about this shoot, to me it’s everything a wedding should be, fun, bright and wonderfully thoughtful – I have to admit I’m a little obsessed about the pineapple invites and oh so sweet table setting, it’s too perfect for words! x

Happy Monday everyone, I hope you all had a lovely weekend basking in the beautiful sunshine. We had a very relaxing weekend followed by a pretty lavish event, which was pretty strange but still lots of fun! Like pretty much everyone I’m a little in love with summer, everything is just so warm, fresh and of course you get to eat lots of yummy strawberries. I LOVE that Katrina and Nick had their wedding at strawberry farms, there is something so incredibly sweet about that, plus their wedding styled by the hugely talented Bash Please is to die for – I can’t get enough of their gorgeous invites, colourful backdrop and of course barn reception it’s all just so perfect. x

Oh my, how spoilt would you feel getting to attend a wedding like this! I love love love the idea of a dessert wedding as it has such a relaxing feel to it and honestly who doesn’t like cake, delicious blackberry tarts and yummy sweets! I adore the brides style, there is something so elegant about a sweet braided updo, soft dress and a bright rustic style bouquet – simply stunning! After a very relaxing but sort of busy day yesterday, I am finally feeling a little better and not so sick. Auckland on the other hand has decided to be very grey and miserable, so I thought whats a better way to brighten up a dreary day like today than with a crazy bright and bold inspiration board? I love the idea of throwing caution to the wind and shocking all of your wonderful guests with a over the top bright wedding, I would love to attend one as I think it would be such a fun day! I can’t get enough of the rainbow layer cake and the view master invite, they are incredible. Whats your favourite thing from this board? xx
How was everyone’s weekend, I hope it was really lovely! Ben and I had a brilliant weekend, we’ve finally finished painting our house just in time for the kitchen to be ripped out and replaced with a new one! We also had a little time to explore our backyard and found that we’ve 3 beautiful rose bushes that are starting to bloom. We already knew that we had 2 huge grapefruit and tangerine trees, but what we didn’t know that a lemon tree has been grafted onto our big tangerine tree, I was ecstatic when Mum told me, I didn’t think it was possible to have such a awesome tree! I also managed to make Ben and I yummy and oh so easy blueberry pancakes for breakfast on Sunday, it’s such a easy recipe and they turn out perfectly! I hope that you had a wonderful weekend and an even better week planned. xx
