Oh my, is there anything as cute as mini bundt cakes? I spoilt myself a while ago and bought a mini bundt pan and have unashamedly been baking everything into mini bundt cakes since, it’s just so perfect! Like everyone, I adore red velvet and thought that they would make the sweetest little bundt cakes – and they did! I served them as little treats along side a delicious cup of tea for my Rosette Baking Class and they were a huge hit! I have a so many ideas of things to bake in my bundt pan – I’d love to hear what you’ve made too. x

Hello everyone, I hope you had a wonderful weekend. I had the best weekend, it started with my birthday on Friday where Ben hijacked my blog and did a very special birthday post for me. I was flooded with so many lovely Birthday wishes, thank you all so much you are all far too kind! Ben spoilt me by taking me to the loviest tea shop, oh my its just gorgeous, so much so that I will tell you more in another post! We then caught up with some friends for a BBQ then the following night my gorgeous family took me out for the most delicious dinner, no one spoke to each other when we were eating it was that good! It was the perfect way to spend a weekend, I also made some homemade muesli while pottering around, its the easiest thing in the world to make and so so tasty! I’d love to know what you got up to over the weekend, I hope it was lovely and again thank you all so much for all the birthday wishes! x
It’s been such gloomy and unpredictable weather lately that when it poured with rain yesterday afternoon it was the perfect time to potter in the kitchen and make something delicious and incredibly easy. I ended up making dark chocolate & caramel brownies and they are amazing, Ben thought all of his Christmas’s had come at once when he came home and saw what I’d baked. These really were the perfect treat for a rainy night in curled up on the couch with a cup of tea and watching Downton Abbey. x

You know you live in Auckland when it has been freezing cold and snowing during the week and then hot and sunny on the weekend! We have had the most perfect Sunday pottering around the Takapuna markets, wandering up and down the beach and then catching up with friends over tea, hot chocolate and french pastries. Total bliss! I have to thank everyone for all their lovely comments about Made From Scratch’s 1st Birthday, so sweet of you! I hope everyone has had a truly wonderful weekend, xx

How was everyone’s weekend, I hope it was really lovely! Ben and I had a brilliant weekend, we’ve finally finished painting our house just in time for the kitchen to be ripped out and replaced with a new one! We also had a little time to explore our backyard and found that we’ve 3 beautiful rose bushes that are starting to bloom. We already knew that we had 2 huge grapefruit and tangerine trees, but what we didn’t know that a lemon tree has been grafted onto our big tangerine tree, I was ecstatic when Mum told me, I didn’t think it was possible to have such a awesome tree! I also managed to make Ben and I yummy and oh so easy blueberry pancakes for breakfast on Sunday, it’s such a easy recipe and they turn out perfectly! I hope that you had a wonderful weekend and an even better week planned. xx
