Oh my, it’s so so lovely to be back – I’ve really missed you all, our fluffy puppy and blogging each day it so strange not doing it each day! Although in saying that my hubby and I had the most wonderful time in Sydney last week – he was there for work and I was lucky enough to tag along to do a little shopping and catch up and meet some incredibly amazing people. Like catching up with the wonderful Kate Robinson at the Donna Hay (where naturally quite a bit of shopping was done!) general store before brunch as Bills and meeting insanely lovely and gorgeous Mia from Mia Loves Pretty at the delicious Grounds of Alexandria for lunch – beyond perfect! As well as of course shopping and catching up with lovely people my hubby and I wandered around this gorgeous city taking in all of the beautiful sites that it has to offer – it really is such a wonderful city! So since returning from our week away being a tourists in Sydney. I now want to explore Auckland a little more like a tourist, I think there is something wonderful about trying to see the city that you live in through a tourists eyes! Happy Friday everyone, I hope you all had a lovely day off in remembrance for ANZAC Day yesterday and got to enjoy some delicious ANZAC Biscuits too. Ever since Ben and I traveled through India for a few months in 2008 I’ve always wanted to attend a traditional Indian wedding. I love everything about them, the colour, food, noise, decorations, jewel toned saris and of course the wonderful amount of tradition that runs through the many days of celebrations – I could imagine it being just like India it’s self, completely overwhelming yet incredible in every way! Perfectly captured by the very talented Celine Kim Photography, this amazing wedding really is a feast for the eyes and sense. x

Oh my, I don’t have the words to describe how stunning this summer birthday party is! Styled by the enormously talented and very lovely Mel from All the Frills this party really does have everything that your heart could desire, from gorgeous entrance ways, delicious cheese and dessert tables, amazing table settings, beautiful test tube vases and of course the most incredible pom pom chandelier!
