Happy Monday everyone, I hope you all had a really lovely weekend! It feels like such a long time since I shared a wedding on the blog, so I thought what could be a better way to start a new week than with this truly stunning diy wedding that was photographed by the very talented and lovely Anna Allport.  This gorgeous rustic farm wedding was held at the brides beautiful family farm in Pataruru –  where everything from the hand made invites, vintage furniture, crockery, and even the caravan was carefully hand picked and collected for their special day! I’ve always found those hand chosen pieces make your wedding day so special. I hope everyone has a lovely week planned, and of course, be sure to take a peek at the rest of this beautiful wedding here. It’s too perfect for words. x

17 It’s such a chilly Autumn’s day in Auckland today, so I thought I’d share one of the most beautiful weddings I’ve seen in a very very long time. Claire {from Izzy Jean and Co.} and Daniel held their wedding on their own free range pig farm, which naturally lent it’s self to the most breathtaking images by Nordica Photography - there are no words to describe how stunning these images are, each one is pure magic! Claire couldn’t express enough just how honoured they were to have Cole from Nordica Photography be apart of their special day – you can of course, read all about their imperfect perfect day (Claire’s words, not mine!) on her blog here, to me though, their wedding was absolute perfection. x

1 There are emails that truly make your day, as they tend to contain something so beautiful that stops you in your tracks and makes you smile! This wedding was apart of one of those emails I received this week and it completely brightened my day. I’m so honoured to share Mark and Stacey’s beautiful garden wedding today, the colours, pops of bright gingham, venue, flowers and table settings are so beautiful and make for such a relaxed, happy and love filled vibe! Plus I’m completely smitten with the stunning stationery and tea towel invites, which were lovingly designed by Stacy herself, how lovely and perfect is that! This truly is such a perfect wedding, but of course you can see that from the gorgeous photos yourself! x

Happy Monday everyone, I hope you all had a lovely weekend! I’m so excited and honoured to share a piece of news that I’ve had to keep quite for a little while – the incredibly kind and generous Sunday Star Times featured my cakes and a little dessert table round up on the weekend as part of their beautiful DIY wedding edition. tablemakers_0029 My goodness, thank you all so so much for the incredibly lovely birthday wishes yesterday – I truly do have the most amazing friends, family and of course readers any girl could ever want, plus I do love that each year my gorgeous hubby takes over Made From Scratch to write me the sweetest birthday post! So thank you all so much for making my day so special!

I also simply have to share this incredibly, and absolutely delicious, Valentines Day Brunch (I know that the day has passed, but it’s far too beautiful not to share!) that the hugely talented Lauren Kelp styled. It’s so stunning that I don’t think it should be reserved only for Valentines Day, I think any celebration calls for a brunch like this where fluffy pancakes with fresh fruit are generously served and champagne flows freely! What do you think? x

16 There are very few places in the world that are as whimsical and completely breathtaking as the scenery in Provence, France. We had the absolute pleasure of traveling through this beautiful country side way back in 2009 and I would love to get back there one day, just to sit and admire the beauty with a delicious cheese and wine picnic with gorgeous friends. For now though I’m quite thankful that the very talented and lovely Feather & Stone recently visited this beautiful part of the world and photographed the most stunning wedding shoot – it’s beyond magical and everything you would hope a wedding hosted in Provence would be, simple, elegant, rustic, surrounded by raw untouched nature and of course absolutely perfect. You simply must take a peek and admire the rest of Feather & Stone’s beautiful Provence Inspiration Wedding, you’ll want to pack your bags and fly to France straight away. x
