I’m beyond thrilled and so excited to be able to share a this stunning lavender shoot styled by the incredibly talented Casey from The Heirloom that I had the absolute honour of making a lovely tired petal cake for. I could gush forever about the dresses, flowers, stunning venue and of course the hugely talented people involved – the whole shoot really is far too perfect for words. x

Sweet Rustic Farm WeddingHappy Monday everyone, I hope you all had a wonderfully lazy weekend. Is anyone else a little excited that the seasons are starting to change, even though we’re having the most wonderful summer ever I’m craving a little Autumn baking and curling up inside for a little bit. I could hardly believe my eyes when I stumbled upon this beautifully styled farm wedding by Ginny Branch, it has everything a party could want, beautiful favors, delicious sweet treats, beautiful flowers and of course the most gorgeous stacked pancake cake ever! I love that there is a perfect mix of pretty pastels and deep jewel tones throughout the whole setting – it’s simply stunning! x

Rue de Seine

Rue-de-SeineSo, you may have heard that I’ve the huge honour of being a bridesmaid at our wonderful friends wedding this winter – I’ve probably told you a million times, but I’m so excited! Today is a very exciting day as Emily (the beautiful bride to be), her mama and I are going to take a little peek at some of the gorgeous wedding gowns from Rue De Seine - if you haven’t been to see Michele yet, you must, even if you aren’t a bride to be,  her shop is a dream come true! I’ve a sneaky feeling that there may be a few happy tears shed today! x

There really is something magical about a simple, yet elegant dessert table. I love how it’s not overly cluttered and that the cakes, flowers and gorgeous props are able to shine through – plus the colour palette is perfect! Beautifully styled by the very talented Leanne from Sweet Style, this really is such a lovely dessert table. x

wkly-roundup-Feb15Happy Friday everyone, whoa what an incredible week it’s been?! Again thank you so much to everyone for entering, sharing and supporting my little (well huge) giveaway for reaching 4000 Facebook likes – you are all beyond incredible and I can’t thank you enough!! How gorgeous is this weeks weekly roundup from Toodles Noodles, I can’t decide what I love more, the hanging pot plants, desk or the oh so cute chopping board – what’s your favourite? I hope that have a truly wonderful weekend and were spoilt rotten yesterday for Valentines Day! x

Hello everyone – did you have a lovely Valentine’s Day? Ours was a bit untraditional this year!  I personally had a training session with my amazing friend and trainer Charlotte then came home and cooked my Mr. a new recipe of prawn & noodle salad. That’s two nights in a row of cooking new dinners from recipes found in magazines – both needing a bit of tweaking – but once “personalised” – they will go up on the blog!

This weekend we will be at the grand opening of the Ponsoby Central Markets!  We’re super excited to get back into the specialty food market scene as we miss our lovely friends over at City Market in Wellington.  You can find us at Ponsonby at their new amazing markets:

February: 17th  and  24th
March:  3rd and 10th

We’ll be showing off some new designs not available yet online and the newest collections of the baking decorations as well! Fingers crossed for good weather and some familiar faces in the crowd!

This week’s roundup is mostly brought to you by some amazing Etsy talent:

1. I’m a big sucker when it comes to lemony desserts – and with baking a special birthday cake next week – I have my eye on this cheesecake!

2. Absolutely love these porcelain hanging plant holders.

3. This desk made out of oak and steel is just a dream!

4. These bracelets out of Lithuania just scream summer and make the perfect accessory.

5. Saw these personalised mugs earlier this week and fell in love! What a perfect wedding gift!

6. Speaking of wedding gifts – this cutting board is just lovely.

I hope you all have had a fantastic week and have fun weekend plans!  And if you do live in the Auckland area, I hope you do say hello on Sunday if you are in the Ponsonby area! x

342Oh my goodness, I honestly don’t have the words to say how thankful I am for the overwhelming response from the 4000 likes post yesterday – you really are the most amazing people in the whole world and you deserve so much more than the gifts that I can offer for you! Thank you all so very much!!

Aww, so with Valentines Day tomorrow is anyone else running around for a last minute and oh so cute gift idea for your loved one? Well if you haven’t already spotted them these gorgeous and incredibly perfect ‘you still make me blush’ DIY cards from Eat Drink Chic would be perfect (how cute is the image in the middle of the girls cheeks blushing!!) especially is pared with some yummy red velvet kisses! I have to admit after almost 8 years together, I still get butterflies and blush a little when I see my hubby, even if it’s just a text, I love it! I hope that tomorrow is full of love, and you’re able to tell the person that still makes you blush how much you love them! xo
