Brr, Winter really has settled -but how lovely is snuggling under a cozy blanket and watching a movie I love it!! I could hardly believe my eyes when I stumbled upon these gorgeous pins from The Little Drom Store they really are the cutest things ever and I simply had to share them! Now the hard part, choosing which one to get – I’ve a feeling that one really wont be enough, I’m a little in love with the bunny and hopscotch pins, which ones do you love? x
Oh, Autumn really is starting to settle in, the days are getting shorter, cooler and the rain has finally arrived. It’s that time of the year when you start to pull out your winter goodies from storage to set yourself up for winter, or treat yourself to something new and cozy – like a gorgeous pair of moccasin slippers, aren’t they divine!! I adore this time of the year where your bedroom becomes a little more cozy and you don’t feel bad for spending a few lazy hours curled up in bed reading a good book over the weekend while a scented candle lights the room. x

Happy Friday everyone, goodness is anyone else finding that this year is flying by! I do love that the seasons are starting to change a little, there really is something so wonderful about staying inside a little during the cooler months. Especially if your home is filled with these cozy autumn goodies – is anyone else a little in love with the mint and glitter deer head, it’s incredible!!! I really couldn’t think of anything more wonderful than pottering in the kitchen and baking some delicious autumn pies before curling up with the gorgeous new issue of Hitched – it sounds like heaven to me! I adore stumbling across beautiful new Etsy shops, it feels like you’ve discovered a little secret! Especially when they are as stunning a Home Sweet Home Design, each and every piece is lovingly hand made by the incredibly talented and oh so lovely Valerie – she learnt to crochet from her Mum and during a holiday break started creating all the beautiful pieces that you see! I absolutely adore everything that she makes, how sweet are the little crocheted bowls and garlands, even on the chillest night your home would feel so cozy! I have to say, I’m a little over winter it feels like it’s been raining and cold for so so long – so I thought that I would lift everyones mood a little with this stunning beach wedding from We Love Pictures to remind you the summer does exist and hopefully it’s not too far away! I hope that you are all having a glorious week so far, I have a few very exciting projects planned for the weekend that a few very lovely ladies and I have been busy working on – I can’t wait to tell you more about it. Oh my, I don’t have the words to thank you all enough for your incredibly lovely comments about the baking class, I am so overwhelmed thank you! Here is a lovely and easy banana bread recipe to get you through these chilly winter days that we’re having a that moment, it goes beautiful with warm caramel sauce and a warm cup of tea – I served slices of this at the baking class on Saturday and it was a huge hit!
I have also announced the date for my second baking class, it is Saturday the 4th of August from 11am – 2pm we will be covering the same recipes from the first for anyone that wasn’t able to attend, I will also be announcing more dates with other recipes shortly. Hello my lovelies, I hope that you had a wonderful weekend. Ours was very relaxing yet productive, I really love rainy weekends they’re the perfect excuse to potter, bake and watch a few movies. I could hardly believe my eyes though when I stumbled upon this gorgeous little soiree captured by the talented Jen Huang. I love the idea of making a dinner party or birthday really special with beautiful flowers, stunning place settings and of course delicious food – I find that winter is almost the perfect time for such occasions. On a cold grey winter’s day, is there anything more lovely than a bright jar of delicious homemade lemon curd? I whipped this up on the weekend with lemons from our backyard and we have been eating it with everything from ice cream, marshmallows, meringue and generously on toast since. This recipe is so easy to make and the end result of tangy sweet lemon curd that as smooth as velvet is amazing – I guarantee once you make this you’ll never buy store bought again. x
