Happy Monday everyone, I hope that you all had a wonderful weather and were able to get outside and enjoy the beautiful Spring weather we’ve been having – we even managed to get out into the garden and do some jobs that have been needing to get done, so lovely! It was about this time last year that we moved into our home, and our little housewarming party was nothing compared to this beautiful housewarming party by Roost! Everything is beyond stunning and styled to perfection, how adorable are the little figurines of them and the delicious dessert/cheese table! The whole party is just far too lovely for words, what do you think? x

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a glorious weekend, I’d love to hear what you got up to – ours was a lovely mix of spending time in the garden, catching up with good friends and generally not much – absolute bliss! It finally feels like Spring has officially arrived, the days are getting longer and warmer and the idea of outdoor entertaining is a lot more appealing – especially garden parties! How unbelievable gorgeous is this dessert table styled by styled and photographed by Blush Flowers and Amanda Amundsen Photography, it would be so wonderful to have a dessert table like this for a garden wedding or sweet afternoon tea party with some gorgeous ladies – it sounds oh so perfect! x

Happy Friday everyone, my gosh where has this week gone? I am thrilled that the weekend has arrived and we are able to spoil our lovely Mama’s on Mothers Day. I personally couldn’t think of anything more perfect than setting a table for your ever supportive Ma with these beautiful items from BHLDN - who else can’t get enough gorgeous tablecloth designed by Rifle Paper Co.? I hope you have a wonderful weekend showing your Ma just how much you love her, she deserves everything. x

Happy Friday everyone, I hope you’ve all had a lovely week and having something wonderful planned for the weekend. Ben is away for the weekend to do a running race around Taupo, so I am planning a very relaxing weekend full of pottering around the house and doing some gardening. Our poor little garden at the front of the house is in desperate need of some love, so hopefully by the end of the weekend it looks better, maybe not as pretty as Amy Borrell’s stunning garden drawing but I can dream. I’d love to know what you’re plans are for the weekend. x

I hope everyone had a lovely and relaxing long weekend, we didn’t really get up to much which was a perfect to spend three sunnyish days. I did go to an amazing nursery with my parents and started the wonderful task of collecting plants for our gardens to be. I can’t wait to show you what we have planned, hopefully it will work out how we want. We have also been talking about rearranging the bedrooms in our house {mostly to fit Ben’s piano into the house, that is still at his parents} but that leads the way to pretty new things and a clean out. I also came acrosse this breathtakingly simple wedding featured on Once Wed, it’s so soft and delicate and would be perfect for any season. What do you think? x

Hello everyone, its so lovely to be back from our little break away up north. We went to a very tiny fishing town called Tinopai, it is the perfect place to go and catch up on reading, sleeping, a spot of fishing and doing nothing really. It also gave me some time to think about what I want to do this year with the blog, I’ve some idea’s tucked away that I will hopefully be able show you through out the year.

One that I’m going to start right away is trying a new recipe every week, I’ve so many recipe books and food magazines so I thought I should put them to good use. So starting this week I will be trying something new and different to share with you all, no doubt some will probably fail and some will be a wild success… but isn’t that what cooking and baking is all about, pushing your limit and trying something new? I would love to know what you’ve been up to over the summer holidays, we haven’t been able to do nearly as much around the house as we’d hoped due the the terrible rain – but we were able to start a little corner garden! x

Happy Monday everyone, I hope you had a lovely weekend what ever you got up to, ours was wonderfully lazy catching up with friends and family. With Christmas just around the corner, I thought I would share a oh so sweet gift guide for the kiddies as nothing is more fun than watching them tear into their Santa sack Christmas morning. There will also be other gift guides to come, so keep tuned. xx
